The Wedding Website of Amy Tomlinson and John O'Dea
While we understand you're all here to celebrate our wedding, there might be some down time on your trip. And we have some suggestions! (The Logan Theatre pictured above, modern movie theater with old-timey vibe.)
Reno

Reno

2607 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647
, (773) 697-4234

Our favorite restaurant in Logan Square. Right across the street from the Logan Theatre, we have had countless dinner and a movie dates here. Also, if you're not a fan of the deep dish (how dare you), this might be the best bet for some wood-fired, thin crust pizza! Walking distance to the Logan Square Farmer's Market on Sundays!

Rossi's

Rossi's

412 North State Street, Chicago, IL 60654
, (312) 644-5775

Open at 7am! The best dive bar in downtown Chicago. Nothing but a bar and a juke box. What else could you need? And you can't beat the prices especially for downtown.

Parson's Chicken & Fish

Parson's Chicken & Fish

2952 West Armitage Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647
, (773) 384-3333

If you like beer gardens, ping pong, alcoholic slushies and/or petting other peoples' dogs then this is the place for you. Nothing but good and chill vibes here along with some of the best chicken and fish around. There is not a bad thing on this menu.

Wrigley Field

Wrigley Field

1060 West Addison Street, Chicago, IL 60613
, (773) 404-2827

What better way to spend a summer day than at Chicago's largest beer garden! Even if you don't go to a game, the neighborhood is fun to walk around in especially with new restaurants, bars and shops popping up almost daily at this rate. Go Cubbies!

Owen & Engine

Owen & Engine

2700 North Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647
, (773) 235-2930

Another great date night spot. Modeled after a traditional English pub, it has an expansive beer list and some great food. We highly recommend the burger or the fish and chips!

Challengers Comics

Challengers Comics

1845 North Western Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647
, (773) 278-0155

The best comic book store in Chicago. An excellent collection of comics, graphic novels and collectibles, we've definitely spent a chunk of change here.

Small Cheval

Small Cheval

1732 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60647

Cheeseburgers. Fries. Milkshakes (make it boozy if you'd like!) Avoid the ridiculous wait time at Au Cheval and come here instead.

Navy Pier

Navy Pier

600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611
, (312) 595-7437

Yes, it's for tourists but there are Dippin' Dots here. And a ferris wheel. And a brand new rooftop bar! During the summer cover bands play at the end of pier, and there are fireworks on Wednesday and Saturday nights. It really isn't that bad. We met Chris Evans here!

The Second City

The Second City

1616 North Wells Street, Chicago, IL 60614
, (312) 337-3992

There are so many comedy clubs in Chicago that you can't really go wrong with where you go. A great number of our favorite actors and comedians have passed through these halls, so we'll recommend seeing a show here!

Walt Disney's Birthplace

Walt Disney's Birthplace

2156 North Tripp Avenue, Chicago, IL 60639

While the house is not open for tours as it is currently being renovated, it's still cool to live so close to the birthplace of the man who started it all. Swing by to take a look at a piece of history.

Adler Planetarium

Adler Planetarium

1300 South Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, IL 60605
, (312) 922-7827

Pokemon Go hot spot.

Lincoln Park Zoo

Lincoln Park Zoo

2001 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60614
, (312) 742-2000

Red Pandas.

For all the days along the way
