Above in the collage is our mom, Sonia Romero, Gerri's sister Sonia (Judy) and our dad, Efrain Romero, who misses my mom terribly. Mom was our rock. She was also a mother figure to my cousin, Teresa as well. Also photographed is my sister's wonderful husband Ian and his family, all who were always so sweet to our mom.
Joe's mom, Judy Lange
and was generous to others, almost to a fault. She would give you the shirt off her back and would give people her food. She would make sure everyone was fed. Joe misses her corned beef and cabbage, so upon hearing this, one St. Patty's day Gerri watched about 10 YouTube videos to try to take a stab at making corned beef and cabbage for Joe. Joe finally had enough of the YouTube videos!! LOL! But the food came out great. Almost as good as Joe's mom's!
Gerri's dear friend Linda
too. She was funny and a true friend. Linda will FOREVER be missed! Even though she was a busy teacher, wife and mom, Linda ALWAYS made time to call me and to catch up. And she ALWAYS wanted me to walk down the aisle one day, so even typing this is bittersweet. I hope I made you proud, my dear friend! Hope you'll be watching the wedding in Heaven with my mom, Joe's mom and the angels! I'm sure she's keeping the angels laughing!
