Question

What about the current healthcare issues?

Answer

Originally while we have asked our guests to either be vaccinated, OR to at least test negative for Covid the day of the event, we are now asking that everyone (as a courtesy) tests to avoid spreading covid as best as possible. We also ask if any guests are experiencing symptoms or test positive on any tests to please stay home for the safety of others. In addition, while we will not require masks, anyone who feels more comfortable wearing one is welcome to and almost the entire event will be held in various outdoor locations to better aid in protecting everyone.

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

The dress code for the welcome party is very casual picnic/summer wear. The dress code for the wedding is Summer Formal. We are clarifying this is not black tie but nor is it semi formal. Suits are appropriate for men and mid to long dresses (or formal equivalent pant suits) that are summer heat adaptable are the dress code for women. Our wedding colors are a deep red wine color and a peachy pink for those looking to avoid the wedding colors. Thank you and feel free to contact us with any other concerns or questions about attire.

Can I bring a guest or a plus 1?

Answer

Generally we ask that you head the invitations as they are given but if you feel this will affect your attendance of our wedding please reach out in regards to adding a plus one to your invitation.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Our wedding is a historic site by the river and will have an open bar serving alcohol throughout the night. Due to this as well as guest constraints, we ask that if your kids are not listed on your invitations (we have made a few exceptions for our international and out of state guests), you acquire a sitter for the night. For those invited we will have a kid theater room located off the dance floor that will play disney movies and have pillows and blankets for all little ones who need a place to rest/crash after dinner as our wedding is a later event.

Can I just drive myself or do I have to take the Shuttle?

Answer

We would prefer all guests take the transportation service we are offering for free from the hotel to our wedding location and back unless you are in the bridal party that is spending the night on location. This is for two reasons. First, we will be having an open bar and alcohol served throughout the night and would prefer guests not drink and drive. Second, the wedding ends at midnight and the levy roads leading to our venue have no overhead lighting and border the delta river. For safety at night we would like you to leave the driving to the professionals.

Will you have allergy friendly food options?

Answer

Yes! There will be several nut free, gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan dishes served throughout the main meal, you will be provided a menu for everything included in the buffet and it will have all allergies flagged so you can make informed choices, and the dessert table will have several non dairy, nut free, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options to accommodate our many friends and family with dietary needs with dietary menus provided nearby as well. When you receive your final invitation please make sure to note any allergies for us so that we can make sure you can have a happy (and healthy) fun evening with us!
