Geri's bestie. Her partner in crime, fellow blonde ninja and native Oregonian. If Geri was ever arrested Tonya would most certainly be there too! They like to find adventure, travel and laugh together. They also like to do crazy things like join the International Order of Mrs. Roper -Oregon Chapter (yes, it's a thing) and dress up like Mrs. Roper for events such as bar crawls, Bingo and wine walks. Generally if there is a costume involved they are in! Tonya's son Braysen is usually on hand to roll his eyes at the crazy antics they get into. They hang out enough together that he calls Geri his second Mom. Tonya is an expert fundraiser and worked with Geri to raise over $350,000,00 for pediatric blood cancer research and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She is also an accomplished businesswoman and widely known as the best relator in Oregon.
Gina Proctor

Geri's twin sister, fellow cat lover (some say hoarder but whatever) and world traveler. Gina is a Vice President at Intel, one of only a small number of women in Finance. She is married to a brit named Steven. They like to travel, drink wine and collect houses. We never quite know where they are or what they are buying now! Gina and Geri are avid Duck fans who go to all the home games and one or two away games each year. Steven doesn't really like American Football but he's a good sport and comes to the games. Geri and JP are excited to do some traveling with Gina and Steven. Although I think both Steven and JP agree that going to Mexico to see the Backstreet boys last April was not their ideal vacation!! Gina and Steven planted grapes on their property and started a winery called Wild Cat Vineyards. Their first harvest is in fall of 2024!

Lori is Geri's slightly older sister. Dr Lori is a Physical Therapist and recently retired from civilian employment in the military. She ran her own Physical therapy business for years and most recently worked at Joint base Lewis McCord's Madigan Army Hospital. Lori is a professional craps player and expert dog trainer, among her many skills. She spends her retirement time traveling with her husband Sig, playing with her grandkids (teaching them all the naughty words in Spanish) and telling her dog Max "no". We secretly think she still works in covert ops for the government but no matter how hard we try she wont break!
Jeanne B.

Jeanne is a long time friend and past co-worker of Geri's. She lives in Dallas, Texas with her family. Jeanne is a style icon, expert mother and soon to be world leader. She can bake a cake, run a board meeting and solve the economic crisis in the middle east simultaneously while wearing Prada!! She always gives Geri the best advice and lets her stay at her house when she is in town. Geri and Jeanne also share a guilty pleasure of the real housewives reality shows but you'll never get either of them to admit it in public!
Aven Jean Amos

Aven is JP's oldest child and mother of our flower girl, Sailah Leilani. She lives a few hours outside of Atlanta, GA. Aven is a big animal lover and in addition to a new baby has 2 cats and 2 dogs. She has a soft spot for rescuing animals in need so you know her and Geri became instant friends! Aven is creative and smart and Geri is super happy she is in the wedding because she wants her help talking JP into a tattoo and a few more animals....
Heidi Jablonski

Heidi is a past co-worker of Geri's. She taught Geri how to be successful in the diagnostics world. Heidi is a ray of sunshine, pure light and goodness. The minute you meet her you will understand what I mean. She lights up a room whenever she walks in. Heidi lives in rural Chicago on a lake with her husband Brent and 2 kids. She works hard and plays hard, often out on the boat with her family enjoying downtime from work, travel hockey, volleyball, dance and all the other activities in her day. I am beyond grateful that Heidi could find time in her crazy busy life to come to Oregon and stand with me!
Linda Naumcheff
Mother of the Bride
Linda is Geri's Mom. She retired a few years ago from The Portland Development Commission where she handled construction bidding and oversaw the construction process of PDC projects. She looks great in a hard hat and kept all the contractors in line and on time to finish their projects. She takes that drive and focus now into retirement where she likes to spend time at her lake house on Hebgen Lake In West Yellowstone Montana, playing with her kitty Snickers and seeing all of her 2 grandchildren and her 4 great grandchildren. Linda also likes to take trips to local casinos and while everyone else loses she usually walks aways with some big wins. She is also supportive of her children and will do anything to help them be happy and achieve their goals. She is always the first to celebrate wins and ever forgets a birthday. She usually reminds the rest of us not to forget and we love her for it!

Father of the Bride
Lynn is Geri's Dad. He lives with his wife Gayle in Meecham, Oregon. Never heard of it? well, neither has anyone else and they like it that way! They enjoy the wildlife and quiet pace. Lynn is an avid hunter and got to know JP on their first group hunting trip in 2023. Both JP and Lynn got elk so it was a good trip. JP asked Lynn for Geri's hand in marriage of which the response from her Dad was "we've been waiting for this for a long time", Gee thanks Dad! Lynn retired as a heavy equipment mechanic and now spends his days driving Gayle crazy, working on projects around the yard and chasing after his two dogs, Ginger and Basil.
Christopher Berg
Best Man
Chris (Christopher) is one of JP's sons. He has a twin named Ben. Chris is actually JP's Doppelganger minus the hair. They share many of the same outdoor interests and love to fish, kayak and hike whenever they can together. Chris is a Foreman at McIntyre Construction and very skilled at detailed finish work. Just don't ask him where he wants to go to dinner it's impossible to get a decision out of him.

Chris is JP's longest and closest friend. They spent their childhood running around the neighborhood building forts and fishing together every moment possible. Once they even made the great decision to build a fire in their wood fort much to the disappointment of their parents who saw the smoke rising. It was raining heavily folks no one was really ever in danger! I think. Chris and JP have a running desire to see who can tell the worst Dad jokes and send one another the craziest video on Instagram. Think of the movie Grumpy Old Men and you have pretty much nailed their relationship. Can't imagine how dull life would be without Chris. Oh and just for good measure the Best Man was named after this crazy guy who vows to be 55 forever!

Jeff is JP's middle brother. Although Jeff and JP are very different in their lifestyles when it comes to the important things in life they align. Jeff is an avid runner (folks it's a mid-life crisis) however we let him think its good for his health and that is why he does it. Jeff is the Creative Director at Haberman. We have always been very proud of his work which can be seen in magazines, labels on goods and on billboards throughout the country. He has written a children's book and even filmed a documentary about distance trail running. When it comes to creativity Jeff is one of the best their is.

Lynn is Geri's brother. JP instantly liked Lynn when they first met in Arizona. We stayed at their house and hung out in their pool, went for rides in their cool golf cart and went river rafting with Lynn and Gavin. It was a lot of fun!
Brian Hong

Brian is JP's close friend from his college days at the UO and were TKE Fraternity Brothers. Later after college Brian and JP lived together in Portland. Brian and JP have shared many adventures throughout the years. Probably the funniest and fondest memory was the trip to Sunriver where they ended up in Klamath Falls very late at night due to a missed turn on a snowy highway. Yes JP was driving! However all the blame goes to Brian for the constant sarcastic distractions. Brian is certainly that friend who has turned into the brother you always hoped you had.
Sara Tourtel

Sara and JP have known one another since high school. We both share a love for skiing and the outdoors. Over the many years of friendship Sara became the sister JP never had. We have watched one another's families grow up and celebrated many milestones in one another's lives. Eric, Sara's husband has become one of JP's good friends and we try to get everyone together at least once a year. As the saying goes when a good friend lives far away and you see them after many months or years you pick right up where you left off and that is Sara and JP. Sorry Sara but I have to share this.....on a skiing outing many years ago Sara was cut off by another skier resulting in a broken nose. I'll spare you all of the details! However no matter what she tells you that accident is credited with giving her the beautiful nose she has today.
Dale Berg
Father of the Groom
Dale is JP's Dad. He is the owner of Berg's Ski Shop and a Track Official in Track Town USA. Dale was an avid runner for many years, served in the US Coast Guard for close to 50 years, an umpire for baseball and even hosted a segment on the local radio show telling people about all the cool events going on in and around Eugene. To JP, Dale is just Dad and one of the Best Dad's a man could ask for! He molded his 4 sons and taught them how to work, be successful and also how to play. At 83 (almost 84) he still works every day and still officiates track at Hayward Field where he was recognized with 50 years of service a few years ago.
Bobbi Jo Berg
Mother of the Groom
Bobbi Jo is JP's Mom. She raised 4 boys and was able to survive that ordeal. We think! Bobbi Jo has a snarky sense of humor filled with whit and sarcasm. Now you know where JP gets it from. She raised her boys to be polite, gentlemen and kind. One thing not often known about Bobbi Jo is that she was in a singing group with her two sisters and they even cut some gospel records called the "Stewart Sisters". Her entire family is musical with the exception of you guessed it "JP".

Sailah is JP's first grandchild and daughter of Aven and Larrenzzo. The love of everyone's life, she is the cutest, sweetest and happiest baby you'll ever meet! We are a little bias but think you will agree!

Gavin is Lynn and Holly's 10 year old son. He is very artistic, loves to play video games and hang out with his cat, Sprinkles McGee. He is intelligent, witty and loves to laugh and make others laugh. He's Lynn and Holly's son so you know he likes to dress up and look good!
