Not just any coffee shop. The best coffee shop in town. It is so close to St. Mary's, there's no driving needed! The owners truly care for their customers, and I am proud to call them my newest friends! They're even coming to the wedding! If you're looking for the nicest customer service and the best cup of matcha in town, look no further than Carport Coffee, and say hi to Griffin and Chris for us!
We've gone here so many times after St. Mary's events, or our Tuesday volleyball nights (where Anthony slowly fell in love with Becka hehe). It's a great whiskey bar, and they have specials just about every night of the week!
This is where we had our very first date! The aesthetic is so cute and very relaxing. It feels like you're sitting in such a nice outdoor area even though it's all inside. If you're looking for a quaint Italian restaurant, this is your place!
This little restaurant is actually a washeteria too! Trust us, their food is incredible. Anthony likes the burgers, but Becka prefers their hotdogs. Oh - and they have a killer beer selection too.
Downtown Bryan is just the cutest and most unsuspecting thing you could find here in BCS. While driving on Texas Ave, it might not look like much. But just head on over one street and you'll find a great place to walk and window shop.
You're darn right. Better go check out the best darn university in the freaking country - nay - world. We're all Fightin' Texas Aggies, we love Miss Rev, and the walk around Academic Plaza is just so lovely. Becka actually used to be a tour guide, so if you find yourself here before the wedding, ask her to show you around! And remember, it's all rough tough real stuff, Texas A&M. WHOOOOOOOOP!
At first glance, this might look like just a ton of soccer fields, but there's a richness within the park that is waiting to be found. The walking trail around the park is actually one huge timeline, and every so often, you'll find a notable historic moment written right into the ground! There's also a beautiful outdoor museum dedicated to veterans right through the forest surround the grounds. Oh, and there's also a ton of soccer fields.
This is a pretty great bar close to campus where we have spent several evenings with friends. They have trivia every week, and this is where the legendary Becka Landry carried her team to 4th place in The Office trivia (shout out to Lauren Powers who came in clutch many-a-time that night). We didn't win anything except the story. Worth it.
This is located on Texas A&M's campus, but it deserves its own special recommendation. This solemn memorial honors those who lost their lives at 2:42am that fateful night. Every year, hundreds (and perhaps thousands) of Aggies join together to remember their lives and spend a moment in prayer for them and their families. It is a beautiful memorial to visit.
We don't think this needs an explanation. UPDATE (November 2, 2020): They just moved into a larger space in the mall. So it's even bigger and even better. We will keep you informed with any other changes.
