Please read the document at http://bit.ly/gerhartweddingupdate for a message from us as well as some Q&As.
We would like RSVPs to be in no later than December 1, 2020. This will help us get our seating in order and make sure we get enough food for everyone!
If you would like to bring your children to the wedding Mass, we will be thrilled to see them there! However, due to limited spacing at the reception, we ask that you consider the following if your children were not explicitly invited in our invitations: If your children are old enough for a babysitter or to stay home by themselves, we ask that they do not come to the reception. If your children are not old enough for a babysitter, we completely understand! They are more than welcome to come, but they won't have their own seats, so they will need to stay with you. If you are coming from out of town, just reach out to us! We'll do what we can to accommodate you and your family during the reception.
Yes! We are registered through Pottery Barn and MyRegistry.com! This can be found on our registry page right at the top!
Our wedding Mass begins at 2pm, so arriving between 1pm and 1:30 is ideal.
For us, the Catholic Mass holds a sacred and special place in our hearts, and although the reception will be a party, we ask that your attire for the Mass is Sunday best!
We have a block of rooms at the Stella a gorgeous hotel on a beautiful pond with lots of activities to do around! Our locked-in rate is $129 per night. We also have a block of rooms at Towneplace Suites for $70-89. You are more than welcome to stay at other hotels too! Our favorites are the George and the Stella, but if you are looking for a hotel that's a little easier on the wallet, check out the Hilton, Four Points, or Staybridge! If you need any other recommendations, feel free to reach out to us!
Absolutely! When you RSVP, it will ask if you have any dietary restrictions. We will pass this along to our wedding coordinator, so make sure you RSVP quickly!
Yes! For the wedding Mass, there is a large parking lot on the student center side. It's easy to spot, and there's lots of parking! At the Weinberg (reception), just follow the signs, there's plenty of parking there, too, but if you can carpool, that's always a plus!
You will need to provide your own transportation to the Mass and to the Weinberg, but we encourage carpooling!
