Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a small parking lot connected to the Scottish Rite Ballroom. This space will primarily be used for family, but if there is a spot available when you arrive feel free to snag it! There is also street parking (the meters run until 6 p.m.) or parking garages (credit card only) near the venue. You can also Uber or Lyft to and from the venue if you don't want to worry about parking....or driving. Please Note: We have been told leaving your car there over night is at your own discretion due to the lot being shared with another building that has been known for towing. If you need to leave your car overnight, please inquire with the host couples upon arrival for a copy of our wedding program to place on your dashboard. We can’t make any promises – but hope this helps!

Should I be on the dance floor?

Yes.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nope! The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident in your attire. If that means a ballgown, great; if that means jeans, perfect. Whatever you wear, we just hope to see you having the best time. However, if you are looking for an excuse to get 'dolled up'...this is it! Please refrain from wearing a white wedding dress if possible. We understand that sometimes this cannot be avoided, but appreciate the effort.

Will there be a bar?

Answer

There will be a fully stocked bar available for purchase with a few specialty drinks hosted. The bar accepts credit/debit cards and cash (especially for tips!). Unfortunately the bar does not accept "IOUs" or "I'll pay you when Husker Football wins the B1G Ten Championship."
