We will be providing transportation to and from the welcome party, wedding ceremony, and reception from Boyne Mountain Resort for all guests. Please note that room bookings using our exclusive wedding discount code will be available starting August 6, 2025. To ensure your accommodation and easy access to the event, it’s essential to book your room in advance. If you do not secure a reservation, you may not get a room at the resort and will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the ceremony and reception. Please note that after the cut-off date of 7/6/2026 you will have to call Central Reservations at 800.462.6963 and ask for the Turano - Gerard Wedding - Lodging Only to book their reservations, based on availability.

Flight

Cherry Capital Airport

One of the two airports you can fly into for the event is Traverse City (TVC), which has direct flights from the NYC Metro Area during the summer - this is the route Matthew and Lauren typically take when heading up north. You will absolutely need to rent a car at the airport, as there are no Ubers, taxis, or car services available in northern Michigan. Renting a car is the only reliable way to get around, so we strongly recommend coordinating with friends or other guests to carpool if possible.

Pellston Regional Airport

One of the two airports you can fly into for the event is Pellston Regional Airport (PLN), a small regional airport in northern Michigan. There are flights from the NYC area to Pellston with one stop in Detroit, making it a convenient option for travelers from the East Coast. You will absolutely need to rent a car at the airport, as there are no Ubers, taxis, or car services available in the area. Renting a car is the only reliable way to get around, so we strongly recommend coordinating with friends or other guests to carpool if possible.
