Kevin Hernandez

Best Man

Kevin is not just a friend; he is a mentor and a role model. Gerald and Kevin first crossed paths in 2015 when Kevin served as Gerald's Resident Assistant and later became his fraternity big brother. Despite facing some challenges along the way, their friendship has only grown stronger and deeper, evolving into a bond between best friends who have matured together. Gerald greatly admires Kevin's work ethic, sense of humor, and dedication to those he cares about. He is grateful to have Kevin by his side on this special day, as a testament to the bond they share.

Rachel Lee

Maid of Honor

Would you take a ride home from a stranger just five minutes after meeting them? That was the start of Jose and Rachel's friendship in the Radiology Program. Since their spontaneous drive through the Bronx in 2018, Rachel has supported Jose through every milestone, becoming his voice of reason. From classmates to Call of Duty teammates, to coworkers, and now one of his Maids of Honor, Rachel has been a lifelong friend. All of this began with a ride Jose thought Rachel would decline.

Francesca Otero

Groomswoman

Francesca holds a special place in Gerald's heart, as she is not only a cherished family member but also a dear friend. She has been a constant presence in his life since he was born. Despite being only eight years older than Gerald, she has provided him with some of the best advice throughout the years. She has a way of humbling Gerald and bringing him back to reality when he needs it most. Francesca's presence serves as a reminder of the unbreakable bond they share and the love they have for each other. Gerald is grateful to have her stand by his side on his wedding day.

Jelmy Javier

Maid of Honor

Jelmy (Jay), Jose's older sister, has been his role model for as long as he can remember. She's been there for all his firsts and is a constant source of wisdom. Jose’s favorite memory is when Jay told him he had to respect her because she was now 18—his response was a five-minute laugh attack. Despite their ups and downs, their love for each other has always outweighed any challenges.

Ann Francis Ang

Groomswoman

Ann and Gerald became friends in 2015 during a horror movie night in their dorm hall. Ann is known for her exceptional talent, genuine nature, and sincerity, possessing a kind and compassionate soul that exudes warmth. Their fondest memories include outings filled with laughter and relaxation on the sofa, where they spend hours watching movies and creating unforgettable moments of joy and comfort. Their bond is strengthened by shared experiences and a profound mutual appreciation for each other's company. Gerald feels fortunate to have Ann's extraordinary friendship by his side on his special day.

Jenisse Javier

Groomswoman

Jose's little sister—though not so little anymore—is the youngest in the group. She begged to be part of the wedding party, but what she didn’t know was that Jose had already secretly planned to include her as a "Groomswoman." She ended up ruining her own surprise, just like she "ruined" Jose's life when she was born after ten years of him being an only child. Just kidding! Jose admires Jenisse's personality, poise, and confidence. He sees a lot of his younger self in her, but with more discipline and determination, which makes him love her even more.

Jennifer Salazar

Groomswoman

Jennifer holds a special place in Gerald's heart as a friend he met back in college in 2017. Their friendship blossomed quickly as they bonded over their questionable decisions, shared love for food, and mutual lack of effort in themed parties. Jennifer is undoubtedly one of the best people in Gerald's life, always keeping it real and bringing laughter into every moment. He will forever cherish the memories they have created together, from late-night sleepovers to unforgettable nights out. Gerald is overjoyed to have her stand by his side as his groomswoman and cherished friend.

Alexandra Pichardo

Groomswoman

Why would anyone have someone in their wedding party who kicked them out of their room for breathing too loud in their sleep? Well, that’s what makes Alex, Alex. And yes, it really happened! I guess it makes up for the time Jose ate 16 hotdogs at his high school play and threw up in Alex's car. Like Jay, Jose and Alex grew close, building a unique bond. Alex has become one of Jose's biggest supporters. Together, Jose, Jay, and Alex have a group chat where they talk all day—until one of them annoys the others, leaves the chat, and gets added back minutes later when they realize someone’s missing.

Leora Hourizadeh

Groomswoman

Leora started out as one of Gerald's employees in 2021. The two (along with Amy) quickly formed a special bond that evolved beyond the workplace. From their aspirations to become healthcare providers to having nearly identical personal goals, Leora and Gerald discovered that they shared many similarities in all aspects of life. Through some of the toughest and best times in Gerald's professional career, Leora has been a constant source of support and comfort, sharing both tears and laughter. Their bond runs deep, and Gerald is honored to have her stand by his side on his special day.

Amy Rogich

Groomswoman

Amy and Jose met at CityMD when he was covering as manager at Gerald's site. You’d think an employee like Amy would greet her manager, but instead, after side-eyeing Jose on her way in, she came back to tell him she had COVID. That was the start of their great friendship. Along with Gerald, Amy and Jose would bar hop almost every weekend until the early hours. Some of Jose’s best memories with Amy are tied to nights in Dyckman, especially the time her bandana shirt popped open, and they both screamed while trying to cover her up. Amy has helped Jose become more outgoing, though it could also be due to his undiagnosed ADHD. Either way, his love and appreciation for her can’t be put into words. Let’s just hope her first words on the wedding day aren’t that she has COVID—and that her dress stays intact!

Ally Chamberlain

Groomswoman

Ally was introduced to Gerald by Ann in 2017. Before long, Ally became like a little sister to Gerald, and they developed a strong bond. Their friendship blossomed through shared experiences, such as playfully dragging her on the floor in Ann's dorm room and traveling together in Europe and Boston. They also share a love for reality TV shows like *Big Brother*, *Traitors*, and *RHOBH*. Ally brings lightness and joy to all their adventures. With many more adventures on the horizon, Gerald looks forward to creating new memories and having Ally stand by his side on his special day.

Aybuke Ulutas

Groomswoman

Jose and Aybuke first met at CityMD, where he was supposed to interview her but ended up getting COVID instead. Aybuke was shy at first and a bit too professional for Jose's liking. Over time, though, he helped her break out of her shell, and their friendship grew. Aybuke was one of Jose's first workplace friendships, and four years later, they’re still close. Jose loves the nickname a former employee gave her, but she swears she’ll never speak to him again if he shares it at the wedding. So when you see Aybuke, ask her what it is—she’ll have to answer! Groom’s request!

Andrew Morales

Groomsman

Meet Andrew, a remarkable friend who has been a part of Gerald's life since 2020, thanks to their mutual connection through Jose and his sister, Jelmy. From the moment they met, it was evident that they connected immediately, especially when it came to their shared passion for Pokémon and video games. Andrew is truly a jack of all trades—he is super athletic, hard-working, a master on the grill, and, above all, a wonderful father to his two daughters. Some of Gerald's fondest memories with Andrew have come from their adventures abroad in the Dominican Republic and outings with Jose's family. Gerald is grateful to have Andrew by his side as a groomsman and our officiant!

Stephanie Ostolaza

Groomswoman

Oh, Steph! Where to begin? Stephanie and Jose met in the Radiology Program in 2017. Though Jose can’t pinpoint when they became friends, he’s so glad they did. Stephanie is one of his dearest friends. They spend hours playing Fortnite and Call of Duty—an unhealthy obsession they’ll address later, when the all-nighters catch up. Their annual trips to Six Flags are a highlight of every summer and fall, followed by a complimentary dinner at Noches De Colombia. Jose looks forward to creating more traditions with Stephanie and watching their friendship continue to grow.

Angel Suazo

Groomsman

Angel first met Gerald in 2021 when he covered one of Gerald's midnight shifts at work. Angel quickly became one of Gerald's closest confidants, always inspiring and challenging him to be a better leader and person. The two share the same interests in video games, bonding over late-night gaming sessions on Fortnite with their spouses. Their friendship has led them on unforgettable adventures, from bottomless brunches in the city to wild nights in the Heights. Gerald is thrilled to have Angel stand by his side on his wedding day, not just as a groomsman but as one of his dearest friends.

Rachel Suazo

Groomswoman

Rachel and Jose met through her husband, Angel, one of Gerald's groomsmen. At first, Rachel only played Fortnite with Jose when their spouses were involved, but over time, they started having their own side conversations. They built a closer bond through TikTok, sharing videos and eventually texting. Realizing how much they had in common, their friendship grew naturally. A year later, they met in person, and their bond blossomed. Now, they talk about everything, giving each other advice while playing Fortnite—usually dying mid-game, but definitely appreciating the free therapy sessions!
