FAQs

If you have any questions please reach out to Danielle Hutko at (734) 718-6642!
Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal! We know it will be hot, but men please try to wear a suit and tie or sports coat. Ladies, please wear formal attire as well (i.e., formal dresses, dress pants).

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones to be out away and turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our night and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for our photographer. After the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Question

What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our specified deadline, you will be marked as "not attending". The reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest counts to all of our vendors within a timely manner. We hope you understand, and we will miss you celebrating with us!

Question

What if I am running late to the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that all our guests arrive promptly for our wedding ceremony as it holds great significance to us. Ceremony doors will be closed once ceremony starts. If, for any reason, you are unable to make it to the ceremony on time, we understand and respect your circumstances. In that case, we would be delighted to have you join us at the reception where we can truly celebrate this joyous occasion together!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they would appear under your name when you RSVP and on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating this special day with you.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

July in Michigan is hot, hot, hot. We will be providing paper fans and shading umbrellas to help with the heat during the outdoor ceremony (weather permitting). Please wear extra deodorant! All inside facilities will be air conditioned.

Question

Where will the ceremony and the reception take place?

Answer

Both will be at Etre Farms in St. Joseph, Michigan. We are planning to have our ceremony (weather permitting) outside and the reception inside.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for about an hour. Guests will be escorted to an open bar where we will be serving passed plates and beverages.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Address: 472 W Glenlord Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085.
