What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive between 5pm and 5:15pm for a pre-ceremony drink, or just to get settled. If you are running a little early, that's ok, but we might still be getting ready! We plan for the ceremony to start at 5:30pm sharp!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as possible! We understand that plans will change, especially during COVID. If you aren't sure if you can make it or if your travel plans change, please just reach out to us directly at geraruth@gmail.com.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

In lieu of physical gifts, we have included information for several of our favorite charities as well as several 'funds' for us to use after the wedding.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

For COVID safety, we will provide pre-packaged vegan meals prepared by one of our favorite local restaurants, The Broken Tulip. We cannot make any menu changes, but we welcome you to bring any specific food items that you will need.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a lower parking lot before walking up a marked path to the venue. Guests with limited mobility can be dropped off at the top of the hill before parking in the main lot. Please refrain from parking at the upper parking lot.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage you to wear festive, dressy-casual attire or semi-formal attire. We will be outside in early fall on a grass lawn, so plan accordingly!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

If you would like to spend the night in Charlottesville after the reception, we recommend checking out all of the great Airbnb's in Charlottesville. If you'd prefer to stay at a hotel, we love The Graduate Charlottesville.
