The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on our invitations. Unfortunately, we have limited capacity therefore the guests list is limited to those we know well.
Yes! There are parking lots at both the church for our ceremony as well as our reception.
Please do not rely on ride sharing services as they are very scarce on the island. For the ceremony, please either drive and park in the church parking lot or plan ahead with friends. Group transportation will start after the ceremony from the hotels listed on the travel page at approximately 4p, this transportation is not handicapped accessible. Those staying at The Inn will be provided shuttle service to/from the reception back to The Inn while all others have the option of group transportation back to the hotels listed. Group transportation will conclude after the last pick up from the after party back to the hotels listed. If you choose to stay at an air bnb/vrbo, there is no transportation provided.
Please plan to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start. We caution that travel can be delayed this time of year due to traffic patterns heading east on Rt 50 to the eastern shore. Please arrive early, ahead of the ceremony start time. For guests arriving late, we ask that you kindly join us at our cocktail hour beginning at 5p to avoid disruption and ceremony delay.
The ceremony is indoors at a church. The reception venue is indoors/outdoors for cocktail hour and indoors for dinner and dancing. Our after party is outdoors on the water under a covered tent.
Yes, it is very important to us that we get to enjoy our cocktail hour with our guests! After the ceremony ends, please check into your hotels and wait for the group transportation pick up to begin. More details to follow. As a reminder, group transportation is only offered after the ceremony and from the hotels listed. The reception cocktail hour will begin promptly at 5pm.
BWI is the closest and DCA would be the next best option.
We kindly ask that no additional photos be taken during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture every moment. Once the reception begins, please snap away!
We love children, especially yours! Due to space restrictions, there are no guests under age 21.
The reception venue will prepare optional vegan, gluten and nut free meals to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions.
