Things To Do

Garland Ranch Regional Park

700 West Carmel Valley Road, Carmel Valley, CA 93924
, (831) 372-3196

It's where we got engaged so we're biased, but it's a wonderful place for a hike. Dog-friendly (obviously) and you can see the ocean from the peak of the park. Find our favorite hike here (but beware of poison oak!): https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/pinyon-peak-via-lupine-sage-fern-sky-and-garzas-canyon-trail?ref=result-card

Pfeiffer Big Sur Campground

Pfeiffer Big Sur Road, Big Sur, CA 93920
, (831) 667-2315

If you're a hiker, we're about an hour from Big Sur, so we'd recommend taking advantage of it. Big Sur has had a number of trail closures, so check AllTrails before you go. Grab a drink at Nepenthe after for more great views.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

886 Cannery Row, Monterey, CA 93940
, (831) 648-4800

A 10/10 amazing aquarium with very cute otters, penguins, and otherworldly jellies. Advance tix required.

Pebble Beach Golf Links

1700 17 Mile Drive, Del Monte Forest, CA 93953
, (831) 574-5609

We're not golfers, but we get for those who do enjoy some time on the links this is definitely a course not to be missed.

Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve

1700 Elkhorn Road, Watsonville, CA 95076
, (831) 728-2822

For the true otter lovers: Elkhorn Slough has the highest concentration of sea otters on the California coast, and you can rent SUPs or kayaks to hang out with them in the water
