There are many ways to get to the Island, the easiest being taking The Steamship Authority ferry out of Woods Hole, Ma. That ferry offers both cars and walk on passenger access, if interested in bringing a car over know that the ferry reservation dates open in January and can book quickly. There are plenty of rental car agencies on island if you want to leave your car behind but would still like to get out and see the island Other car-free modes to get to the Island include: - The Quonset Fast Ferry out of North Kingstown RI - The Seastreak Fast Ferry out of New Bedford Ma - The Island Queen out of Falmouth, Ma - Flying in to MVY airport, in the summer season you can find flights on many large and smaller regional airlines. - Peter Pan Bus and P&B bus offer service from Logan to Woods Hole for those flying into Logan.
