I love KIMCHI Korean Restaurant Queenstown
Our fave (the only) Korean restaurant in Queenstown. Our two friend groups came together here over dinner many a time. Yummy food plus the owner is loyal and always looks after us.
Walter Peak Farm
Take the TSS Earnslaw (a 100 year old steamship) across Lake Wakatipu to the Walter Peak High Country farm where you can eat delicious food, look around the gardens, and witness a farm show. We have done this multiple times and it never gets old.
Gantley's Tavern
Cute & Cosy Bar in Arthurs Point right next to the Onsen Hot Pools. Their Tofu Burger is so good even Carl prefers it to the beef burger!
Onsen Hot Pools Retreat and Day Spa
A relaxing spa with a beautiful view. Great way to unwind just make sure to book ahead as they can be booked out months in advance.
Millbrook Resort & Country Club
A beautiful resort with two 18 hole golf courses. If golf is your thing you have to check out Millbrook!
Ayrburn Barrel Room
Ayrburn has stunning grounds to walk around as well as a bakery, multiple restaurants, wine tastings, and a cocktail bar.
Kinross Winery, Cellar Door & Cottages
Of all the wineries in the Gibbston Valley this is our fave. Delicious food, entertaining tastings and amazing staff!
Wānaka Lavender Farm
The lavender farm is beautiful! Even if the lavender isn't blooming they have animals you can visit and a shop with yummy honey, fudge, and ice cream.
Puzzling World
Great for kids! We had fun too :)
Lake Hāwea
This is where we got engaged! Nothing much to see just the most beautiful lake, our favourite spot for a swim in the summer.
Glenorchy
It's a beautiful drive to a very small town with a cute little farm shop and some lord of the rings filming locations
Cromwell
Cromwell is where you will find all of the orchards! There are so many gems in Cromwell including one of our favourite restaurants (The Stoaker Room), amazing fruit stalls with real fruit ice cream, lots of great vineyards, and the old town which is similar vibe to Arrowtown.
Milford Sound / Piopiotahi
Got our first photo together here! Unreal place to visit. It is quite far away and takes a full day driving there and back. We were lucky enough to take a Milford Scenic Flight which wasn't as daunting as the big drive but have heard the drive is amazing too.
