What time should I arrive? 언제 까지 도착해야 하나요?

Answer

Please arrive between 2:10pm & 2:15pm. You will need to be make your way to your seats by 2:20pm as the ceremony is kicking off at 2:30pm! Please keep in mind this is earlier than what is printed on your original invitation.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation on the day of the wedding will be provided to and from the venue from three locations: 100 Ardmore street in Wānaka central, the main highway near Meadowstone Drive, and Edgewater Hotel. We recommend staying either at Edgewater Hotel or staying walking distance to either of these locations. After midnight it is impossible to find a taxi in Wānaka and we wouldn't want you to end up stranded at the end of the evening. If you aren't staying on our bus route please pre-book a taxi well in advance. If you book with yello! tell them it is for Georgia's Wedding and then they might be able to put some of you together in one vehicle if you are heading in the same direction. There is also a carpark at the venue if you wish to drive yourself. 결혼식 당일에는 100 Ardmore Street, Wanaka central 과 Edgewater Hotel 두곳의 장소에서 교통편을 통해 대리러오고 대려다 줄예정입니다. 원활한 교통편의를 위해 Edgewater Hotel 에 머물거나 이 두장소에 가까운 숙소를 추천 드립니다.

Can I take Photos?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony so we ask that you leave the photography to Kate, our Photographer, at that time. For the rest of the day however feel free to take as many photos or videos as you like! We would love for you to capture our day whether that is on your phone, cam corder, film camera, or Canon EOS R5 Mark II. Just don't forget to live in the moment as well x

What’s the weather going to be like? 날씨는 어떨까요?

Answer

In early October in Wānaka it is Spring (which can be very unpredictable). Over the past few years, we have seen everything from sunny days with temperatures reaching around 16-18°C to unexpected rain and even a light dusting of snow. While the days can be mild, the evenings typically bring a noticeable drop in temperature (sometimes as low as 2-5°C) so we would definitely recommend layers. 와나카에서는 보통 10월 초에 봄이 찾아옵니다. 지난 몇 년 동안 기온이 약 16-18°C에 달하는 화창한 날부터 예상치 못한 비, 심지어 약간의 눈보라까지 모든 기후가 언제 나올지 모릅니다. 낮은 따뜻할 수 있지만, 저녁에는 보통 기온이 많이 떨어집니다 (때로는 2-5°C까지 떨어지기도 합니다). 따라서 저녁을 대비하여 외투를 준비하는 것을 추천합니다.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. The colour theme is spring pastels so if you have formal attire in light spring colours that’s even better (but not required). Really the only rule is no white dresses please! We just want everyone to look and feel their best <3 High Heel disclaimer: If you are planning on wearing heels please keep in mind the ceremony is on grass so it might be best to avoid stiletto heels. 드레스 코드는 Formal Attire (검색추천) 이며 햇빛, 꽃, 밝은 색을 연상 시킬수 있는 옷을 추천합니다. (흰색옷은 X) 저희는 모두다 멋지고 아름다운 최고의 하루가 되었으면 좋겠습니다.

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

Absolutely not! Your presence at our wedding means the world to us. We know everyone is traveling from far and wide to get to Wānaka and the greatest gift of all is you making that trip. We haven’t created a traditional gift registry but if you really feel like giving, we wouldn’t say no to a contribution to our honeymoon fund. There will be a small card box at the wedding.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

While we love celebrating with all our friends and family, we’ve chosen to keep our guest list intimate and are unable to accomodate additional guests.

Are kids allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have invited some of our fave kids and it is totally up to their parents whether or not they can come. Please make sure to RSVP yes or no for your kids if they have been invited.
