Travel into DC to see the Washington Monument, White House, Capital Building, etc. DC is about 1 hour away from the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club and traffic can get really heavy so we recommend traveling outside of regular business hours if you are wanting to venture into the capital.

Explore downtown Annapolis which has many shops and restaurants. Annapolis is home to the Naval Academy and offers great waterfront views and small town charm.
