1. We know the holiday weekend may make restaurants in the area a little tougher to get food, so stop in for a bite to eat (check the schedule tab for details about the welcome dinner). 2. If you do want to grab something to eat, most places will stop serving around 9:30/10:00pm. Calling ahead is definitely what we would recommend. Some of our favorites are: >>Bird Creek Farms (in Port Austin, off Grindstone road): really nice outdoor/porch seating (Clark loves the whitefish bites) >>The Bank (in Port Austin): great food! Take a photo next to the mini Statue of Liberty! >>PAK (in Port Austin): easy bites, good drinks (try the rum runner - George's favorite). Usually has live music >>Fireside Grill (just 10 min West of town): great pizza, fun arcade for kiddos >>Lewisville Smokehouse (in Lewisville - between Kinde and Port Hope): AMAZING BBQ! And the drive there goes through a few windmill farms which is incredible at dusk 3. There is also a great grocery store right in town (the IGA) with a good selection of items. They do close closer to 9PM, so plan ahead a little.
