Janice has been Akira's favorite judge since Janice hired Akira to be her judicial clerk in 2002. Janice and Akira have had a standing monthly lunch ever since. In addition to being Akira's Judge, Janice moonlights as George's Fishing Buddy. Most recently they caught 11 kokanee on Merwin Reservoir, just before the pandemic. That was a good day.

In Live Weddings we all had the luxury of having honorary roles for our friends and family, such as candle lighter, reader, usher, ring bearer and such. As we have thrown together this livestream, virtual wedding, the hardest part has been keeping the live ceremony as small as possible for everyone's safety, to the exclusion of those we love. To honor our family, in the spirit of wedding tradition, and recognizing the new COVID reality, we have asked Danyelle (George's Sister) Kevin, (George's Brother-in-law), and Emma, Eleanor and Evelyn (George's Nieces) to serve as Official Livestream Wedding Bandwidth Monitors.

Ann is an artist and arranged the flowers for the ceremony. She has helped keep Akira sane both through COVID and wedding planning.

George's Emotional Support Companions

George has known Bob and Minda since they all lived together in Baxter Hall their freshman year at Willamette University. It's Bob's turn to help George with his wedding. Bob and George also occasionally fish together. Most recently they caught a chinook salmon fishing Buoy 10. That was also a good day. Minda lets Bob go fishing with George.
