We're getting married!

The world introduced us to each other after traveling to New Zealand (Dylan) and Australia (Michaela) to study abroad in 2014. After returning back to Brockport, we developed a friendship over our love for travel and adventure. For three years we remained just friends as we were in other relationships but still sought comfort in each other’s presence. In late summer of 2017 we were both single and naturally found our friendship changing into something more and started officially dating January 1, 2018. Our timeline hasn’t been the most traditional— We moved into our first apartment within a year of dating (where we hosted many apartment parties); Had our best furry friend, Bodie, join our family in May 2020; Bought our cozy home in Fairport, NY in April 2021. We started building our life early into our relationship because we knew this love was going to be forever after our first trip to Cold Spring, NY in November 2017 (yep- before we were even officially official!). In December of 2024, Dylan proposed in the most romantic, yet intentional way — on a walk, with coffee and hot chocolate in hand in Cold Spring. Now, we're ready to celebrate our love with the people who have supported us from the beginning. Cheers to this next adventure... our favorite one yet.
