Maid of Honor
Growing up, Holly and Katie were the classic sibling pair. Playing together, sharing friends, and getting into trouble! They both have always stayed true to themselves and encouraged each other on their unique life paths, while still sharing a love of culinary arts, travel and all the memories of childhood.
Best Man
Geordan is my little brother and best friend. I met Katie about three years ago when I came home for spring break. She obviously made him very happy and treated him well, including laughing at most of the jokes he made. (This is incredibly difficult to do: his jokes mostly consist of puns.) Every time I saw them after that, observed growth in how they related to each other and relied on each other. I was not surprised when they announced their intention to get married. In fact, I was quite elated and I am excited to formally welcome Katie into our family.
Maid of Honor
Nicole met Katie in 2nd grade at Cass Elementary School and they quickly became the best of friends. This friendship outlasted awkward middle school years, all of high school, attending different colleges, and the start of both of their careers. From long days spend at the swim club growing up, to the countless family ski trips, to all the Taco Bell and Slurpee runs in between - 19 years later and their friendship has only grown stronger. Nicole truly sees Katie as her sister and is so beyond proud to support her on her special day!!

Bridesmaid
Katie and I met, shockingly, through Alternative Breaks. And if you don't know what Alternative Breaks is, well spend 24 hours with us and I bet it will come up. We decided our best friendship for the first time we hung out at Taco Bell and solidified it through late night car talks and Taco Bell runs. Who would have thought a water and fire sign could get so close but I guess we balance each other out.

Rachel has known Katie since she was in kindergarten with Holly and Katie was in second grade with Rachel's sister, Nicole. The four of them were inseparable and Rachel has considered Katie family ever since. She's so excited to be a part of this day and to celebrate Katie and Geordan!

How I met your wife (to be) Although we were introduced briefly at the airport—probably when you picked me up after an interview trip—the official line should probably be that I met Katie when we all got together for your induction into Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Business Honor Society and then went out for dinner afterwards, to get acquainted. I think that dinner confirmed for me what she meant to you. But really, you introduced her to me before that, in our conversations, your deliberate as well as your off-hand comments about her intelligence, her kindness, her steadiness, her humor, her commitment and dedication to expansive, humanitarian causes.
