It's happening!

Katie and Geordan's story begins at their alma mater, Grand Valley State University, where they participated in world changing organizations. Luckily their lives collided in September 2017, when they represented their respective organizations (Oxfam International for Katie and United Students Against Sweatshops for Geordan) at a Student Solidarity Coalition meeting. Geordan, arriving late, entered the room and locked eyes with his future wife, Katie. Katie and Geordan bonded at the meeting over books, politics, and love of human rights. They exchanged numbers in order to share book lists. Over the following months, Geordan would appear at various Oxfam events in order to support Katie. Finally in January 2018, Geordan built up the courage to ask Katie on a date. From there, Katie and Geordan have built a relationship on a love of good books, big ideas, and bad jokes. They are so excited to take this next step with you.
