We matched on March 13, 2023, on Hinge. Michael will tell you that he reached out first, but it was really Leslie :). Our first date was at Maki Sushi Bar in Anderson, SC on March 22, and we have been together ever since! From many places in SC , VA and Disney World, our first year together was filled with many hours in the car, so we got to know one other very quickly. While we love traveling together, we equally love a lazy day on the couch watching our favorite tv shows. We enjoy church on Sundays, football Saturdays, boating out on Lake Keowee and Lake Greenwood, walking 9 holes of golf, hitting at the range, Lego building, reading books on the beach, obsessing over Smokey, and putting our 12 foot 120 pound Christmas tree together. We realized very quickly that we enjoyed just being together no matter what we do, so Michael got down on one knee on December 6, 2025 at Biltmore and asked me to do life with him forever! Heyward Manor is a special place for us- attending a wedding there was one of our first dates, and we always imagined our future wedding at a place like Heyward Manor. We can't wait to start our lives together in a place where our story originally started!
