5:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Casual cookout in the mountains, evenings can be chilly so we suggest layers
We'll be hosting a casual cookout dinner welcome event at the Upper Cookout Pavillion at YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park starting around 5pm. After food there is free music from 7-8:30pm at Kathie Mennel Amphitheater by Cowboy Brad if you'd like to join for that as well.
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Formal Garden Party
Think garden party attire; dresses in fun colors, light suits or colors preferred. No tie required. Please note these are only our suggestions, dress however you feel best! We're happy to have you as you are, join in on the theme for extra fun and a bit of razzle dazzle. Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and reception will follow inside. Buffet style dinner and drinks will be provided.
12:00 pm
Hiking clothes
This is just for reference for anyone who would like to join, since the wedding is during peak season reservations are needed to enter the park from 9am-2pm, and 5am-6pm for Bear Lake Road (a separate area within the park). Those of us who made reservations online did so for noon-2pm that day. Please note reservations are per vehicle, not per person, and cost $2 online through recreation.gov. It appears tickets are currently sold out for that day, but more will be released the night before on 7/10 at 7pm MDT, or you can enter after 2pm without a reservation. Please note the timed entry ticket is not your admission, which you will need either a pass or the normal entry for (again, this is charged by NPS per vehicle, not per person). In general Rocky Mountain National Park is gorgeous, so we highly recommend a visit if you're staying in Estes before or after the wedding! Even if you're not a hiker there are visitor centers and scenic pull offs throughout the park.
