Hi all! Thanks for being here and we look forward to celebrating with you! If you're invited you are certainly special to us, and we would be honored to share this very special day of celebration with you! Please join us for a day of fun festivities and good food in the beautiful setting of Estes Park, right next to the gorgeous Rocky Mountain National Park. We're still setting up the RSVPs, but for now you can find some general information on this website including time, date, location, and general timeline for those of you who want to join us for other fun activities before and after the wedding! Gen and Lilith met online, and went on their first date on August 15th, 2023. They went to brunch at a cute restaurant and then had a spa day; they had so much fun they ended up getting dinner together, and then they went to Lilith's house so Gen could see her 3D printed spice racks and giant playset for her kids. They hit it off so well that for their second date Gen met Lilith's kids, Jason and Ian, and for their third date Lilith met Gen's family over Mexican food. Gen and Lilith both have a passion for engineering, travel, family, food, and adventure so they hit it off right away. They so enjoyed each others company that their 4th date was a trip to Mexico together where Gen asked Lilith to officially be her girlfriend. Things took off from there and they started sharing life together, family events, trips to Japan, Europe, and beyond, Lilith's first camping trip, and so much more! The following year they finally took a trip to Paris together that they had talked about on their very first date. On that trip during a visit to Versailles in the gardens near the temple of love, Lilith proposed to Genevieve, to which she received a very enthusiastic yes! Upon returning home Gen was promoted to full time resident at the River household, at which time her dad helped her prep the house to bring along the one and only Rusticia (her beloved senior pomeranian), and Gen added a bit of razzle dazzle to the house with her top tier decorating skills. Today they still very happily live together, where Gen has adjusted to being a very lucky parent of two fabulous gremlin children, and Lilith is now arguably Rusticia's favorite parent in the household. The world is crazy these days, but in their little corner of the world it's full of love, light, laughter, happiness, and great company, and they can't wait to get married and call each other wife!
