I couldn’t recommend things to do in Tampa without giving Hyde Park its own highlight. It’s truly my happy place and home to some of our favorite restaurants, Meat Market, Forbici, and bartaco, to name a few. If you find a free moment, take a stroll through the village, toss a penny in the fountain, and create your own custom candle at The Candle Pour. It’s the perfect way to spend a relaxed afternoon.
A favorite waterfront spot along the Riverwalk, Armature Works is perfect for grabbing a bite, enjoying a drink, or simply taking in the views of the Hillsborough River. With a variety of food options and a beautiful outdoor lawn, it’s an easy and fun place to spend an afternoon or evening in Tampa.
Rich in history and full of character, Ybor City is a lively district filled with unique shops, local restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. Spend the afternoon exploring, grab dinner at one of the many iconic spots, and enjoy the energy of one of Tampa’s most historic neighborhoods. While you’re there, be sure to stop by The Copper Shaker for a specialty cocktail.
