What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We would like our guests to dress comfortably with something nice they feel fitting for a garden wedding. The average climate for January in Panajachel is a highs between 70°-80° and lows between 50°-55°. Ladies please note that you will be walking on grass.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

For any guest choosing to drive yes there is parking on site.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outdoors. The average climate for January in Panajachel is a highs between 70°-80° and lows between 50°-55°.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

No, We currently have 42 rooms blocked off at Hotel Atitlan. We have been working with the hotel reservation department to secure a link for guest to reserve their rooms.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

We will provide shuttles for guests back and forth from Antigua Guatemala to Panajachel. The shuttle will leave Antigua Friday 1/17 at around 3PM and depart from Hotel Atitlan Sunday 1/19 at around 11AM.

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Answer

We do not have a preference for colors or styles.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

The food will be served in a dynamic buffet style. Dishes in the buffet will be a variety of Guatemalan traditional dishes and antojitos. There will be vegetarian options. If you have any dietary restrictions please inform the groom/bride ahead of time so we can accommodate you.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar. Beer, rum, vodka, tequila, whiskey, aguardiente and red/wine wine will be available.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence is the best gift, but if you're thinking of a little something extra, cash contributions for our honeymoon or future adventures would be awesome! If you'd prefer to give a traditional gift, we're happy to receive thoughtful presents as well, which can be sent to our home.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

The ceremony will be held from 3:30-4:30 PM. Cocktail hour will be 5:00-6:00 PM (light refreshments will be served), followed by dinner, dancing, and cake.
