Q. What are the suggested travel dates?

Answer

Please feel free to arrive as early as you'd like and stay at the resort as long as you'd like. We recommend the following date range: Thursday, October 26 to Monday October 30th (The resort has a 3 night minimum stay requirement.)

Q. What is the payment schedule?

Answer

Non-refundable deposit, $100 per person – Due by October 31, 2022. Final Balance Due Date: June 7, 2023. *All payments are non-refundable after June 7, 2023, therefore Travel Insurance is recommended* *Partial payments: Guests may pay for their trip in monthly installments, or pay in full anytime prior to the final balance due date. Partial payments are recommended.

Q. Do I have the option to purchase travel protection?

Answer

Absolutely! We strongly recommend travel protection. Just like other investments (house, car, health, jewelry), the travel protection plan helps to protect your travel investment from any unforeseen circumstances that may arise before or during your trip.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

Answer

The $100 deposit is non-refundable. Final balances are due June 7, 2023 . All rooms are non-refundable if cancelled following June 7, 2023 and any applicable refunds must be requested from your travel protection supplier. Example 1: Guest pays balance in full prior to June 7, 2023 and cancels prior to June 7, 2023 The $100 deposit is non-refundable. All other partial payments will be refunded. Q. Do I have to book with Perfect Circle Destinations?

Answer

Yes, we request that all guests utilize our dedicated planner and travel coordinators at Perfect Circle Destinations, whom we have hired to manage our all our guests. This helps keep the entire group organized, included in planned activities, and informed of travel updates. Everyone will receive a group discount, so you’ll always pay less than the internet by using Perfect Circle Destinations. Q. What does “All-Inclusive mean”?

Answer

All-Inclusive resorts offer: All you can eat (gourmet restaurants and buffets), All you can drink (alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages), Entertainment (the resort will have daily and nightly activities including shows and a night club), Water Sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, and other non-motorized water sports are typically included), Room Service includes 24-hour room service of food. Q. What other amenities does the resort offer?

Answer

Complimentary greens fees and transportation to Playa Mujeres Golf Course, 2 minutes from lobby. Preferred Club guests have access to lazy river. Guests can also visit Secrets Playa Mujeres (Adults Only Resort) connects to Dreams.

Q. Are there excursions that we can participate in?

Answer

Sure thing! If you would like to plan separate excursions, you can coordinate this at the hotel upon arrival.

Q. Can I upgrade my room? Are there other room types available?

Answer

Absolutely! As long as the resort has availability for your travel dates. See the Pricing page for rooms that we have pre-selected in our room block. If you wish to book a different room category, please indicate your desired room on your reservation form. Perfect Circle Destinations will contact you with pricing, availability and next steps.

Q. What if my potential travel companion (roomie) is TBD, unknown at this time, or not ready to book?

Answer

Guests may book without them and add them to their reservation at a later time. Since prices and availability are subject to change, be sure to reserve the room for just yourself and we can add them when they are ready. Solo occupancy hotel rates are sometimes higher than double occupancy. When we add your travel companion in the future, you'll recognize the double occupancy savings. Rates are refreshed at the time future changes are made.

Q. How do I purchase travel protection?

Answer

We recommend booking travel protection along with your itinerary. The travel protection plan must be purchased within 48 hours of booking your room. If you are looking for independent, outside coverage that is purchased separately, please do your research and book with any trusted travel protection provider as soon as possible. Cancellation fees are non-refundable, except through qualified travel protection reimbursements.

Answer

All final payments are due June 7, 2023. Partial payments are encouraged, but not required. Reminders will be sent frequently.

Q. What is the best way to find good flight deals?

Answer

We suggest setting up flight alerts. Our favorite is Google flights because it includes a wider range of airlines. Use search engines to find the best deal, but remember to book the flight itself directly via the airline to maximize your flexibility if your plans were to change. Q. How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

We highly recommend securing your transportation in advance along with your room reservation. You can get taxis or shuttle transportation at the airport/resort but they are usually more expensive when buying directly on the same day. Pricing for your group for Round Trip Transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport are: • $50 per person (min 2 people) - direct non-stop service, only guests from the wedding group will be transported in the same vehicle. • If you wish to be transported alone or with specific companions, without other members of the wedding group, please email us at perfectcircledestinations@gmail.com to inquire about other options.

Q. Do I need to have my passport prior to making my deposit for the trip?

Answer

Passports are required at the time of travel. As long as you provide Perfect Circle Destinations with your full legal name, you can arrange travel in advance. Instructions to apply for passports can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/apply-in-person.html Expedited Passports now can take up to 12 weeks - we do recommend getting your passport as soon as possible. Please allow 12-16 weeks for standard passport applications to process following your scheduled appointment with a passport "acceptance facility" https://iafdb.travel.state.gov/ . If you do not obtain your passport prior to travel, you are responsible for any associated cancellation fees.

Q. ARE THERE ANY TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS FOR DEPARTURE AND/OR RETURN?

There are no current requirements for a negative COVID test or vaccination for entry to Mexico or return to the United States. We always encourage guests to test before and after travel to “know where you stand”, however this is no longer a CDC requirement.

Q. WHAT SHOULD I MAKE SURE TO PACK?

-Passport. -Outfit and shoes that you will wear to the wedding. -Swimsuit(s). -Flip flops / sandals. -Outfits for lounging around the beach and resort. -Sun protection: hat, sunglasses, reef-safe sunblock. -Mosquito protection. -Personal medications and sanitary items.

Q. WHAT ARE THE GROUND TRANSPORTATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ARRIVAL?

Answer

When you land, clear customs, and claim your baggage, there will be lots of people trying to sell you transportation, excursions, and all sorts of things - walk straight and don't blink -- You will locate the SHUTTLE CENTRAL representative near the welcome bar (Outside of the "Ground Transportation" airport exit). They may be hard to find - do not get discouraged. Their sign will say “Sara & Gene's Wedding” or just “Shuttle Central”. Ask Sara & Gene to make a soft intro to other wedding guests sharing a shuttle with you prior to travel day so that the group can do a head count prior to taking off. The transportation company can only wait for one hour from the time the flight has landed, so it is important that you move fast through the airport. If you are unable to locate the representative, please call 786-723-6220 and mention your Service Number. Please note: If you were to miss your flight, you will be responsible for arranging your transportation /paying for a cab from the airport to the resort.

Q. WHAT ARE THE GROUND TRANSPORTATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETURNING HOME?

Answer

Guests can locate their pickup time on the Travel Instructions email provided by Perfect Circle Destination within 7-10 days of takeoff. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early at the outside pickup area for your transportation and be sure to have checked out of the hotel and obtained a check-out slip. You cannot leave the property without a check-out slip :) Give yourself enough time to check out and still be early for transportation pickup. Please also announce yourself and the name of the transportation company to the outside resort staff. The transportation company can only wait for 5 minutes from pickup time, or you will be responsible for a taxi. If your van does not arrive within 5 minutes of your pickup time, please call 786-723-6220. Please note: If your flight schedule changes, your transportation is no longer guaranteed as it's pre-arranged and subject to the transportation company's availability. Last-minute changes are not guaranteed and the cost is non-refundable.

Q. WILL I NEED CASH? WHAT ELSE SHOULD I PACK? IF THIS IS MY FIRST INTERNATIONAL TRIP, OR FIRST TRIP IN A LONG TIME, HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE?

We recommend that all guests read this Pre-Travel Checklist (https://www.justbookittravel.com/mexico-pre-travel-checklist), as prepared by Perfect Circle Destinations, to ensure a seamless travel experience. All confirmed guests will receive very detailed traveling instructions 7-10 days prior to travel.

Q. CAN I CONFIRM BEDDING SELECTION (ONE KING OR TWO QUEENS) IN ADVANCE?

All bedding requests are sent to the resort in advance. However, bedding and rooms are assigned at check-in and is not guaranteed by Perfect Circle Destinations.
