What is Festive Semi-Formal Attire?
Answer
Great Question! Semi-formal attire gives flexibility on comfort, without being too casual and has an added festive flair. The setting is a gorgeous view overlooking the city of Florence with a color palate of soft greens, terracotta, blush, and neutrals. Moral of the story- don't feel like you need to wear black. We wanted the attire to be purposefully ambiguous to ensure that what you have in your closet already is probably more than fine to wear to our wedding. Although, if you need inspiration here are some ideas: For women, opt for a dress featuring fun colors, a midi dress or a dressy skirt and top and playful accessories. An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate! Please Note: The ceremony is being held outdoors and you'll be walking across a lawn, you may want to avoid traditional stilettos that will likely get stuck in the grass. Men could wear a jacket, dress shirt and slacks, with the option to wear a tie, or sport a suit jazzed up with a fun tie or creative pocket square.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! To avoid a flux of taxi's at the villa, we will be providing transportation to and from the venue with a fleet of 5 shuttle vans. Each shuttle can hold 7 people, and we have pre-assigned each person to a group. Pickup and Drop-off Location: Hotel Savoy, Piazza della Repubblica, 7, 50123 Firenze FI. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the assigned pickup time. The shuttles will leave promptly at the specified time. To see the schedule and details on the pickup group you are assigned to visit the "Schedule" tab. Pickup Group 1- 2:00 PM Leave. Please arrive no later than 1:50 to get on the shuttles Pickup Group 2- 3:00 PM Leave. Please arrive no later than 2:50 to get on the shuttles Bus Captains for Group 1 is Christine Chen and Eric Miles. Bus Captains for Group 2 is Jamie and Alex Berghouse.
Question
Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We would love to see you at the Welcome Dinner on the evening of September 5th. To find more information, visit the "Schedule" tab as well as the "RSVP" tab to submit before August 25th. Some of you may be traveling in or coming back from a day full of tourist fun, so please note that the dress code is causal.
Question
I do not see a plus one on my invite, but I would like to bring someone. Is there flexibility?

Please reach out to us at geistertuttwedding@gmail.com. We want everyone to have a wonderful time, but based on the difficult choices we needed to make for the size of our guest list we have not included "plus ones" for anyone that is not married or in a long term relationship at this time. However, if you would like a plus one, please let us know so we can keep you in mind to make accommodations if we can.
