What's the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is formal, our ceremony is at a church so think about wearing something you will feel comfortable in during mass. With that being said, August in Maryland is HOT! So wear something light (don't forget plenty of deodorant).

What will parking be like at the Ceremony?

Answer

Our parking situation at the church is very cramped - about 50 available car spots. So please consider carpooling with other attendees. The reception site is very accommodating as far as parking, but carpooling is always a great idea when an open bar is available! Stay safe and pick a designated driver!

Are children invited to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! All are welcome to attend both the ceremony and reception, we hope to be surrounded by family and friends of all ages. However, if you and your significant other want to leave the kids at home and have a date night out, that'll be fine with us too. Make sure you indicate on the RSVP page if you are or are not bringing the kids!

Can we request music?

Answer

Yes, requests will be allowed during the reception. However, we would love for you to make them beforehand so that the DJ can focus on good music all night long! Go to this website: http://www.hessonentertainment.com/clientarea.htm and use the guest request system and password geiserstruderguest.

What is the Down Payment Fund on your registry?

Answer

We posted a few options for wedding gifts on our website, but the most important one is our down payment fund! We have been saving up for the past year to get a house of our own and hope to buy a house before the end of the year. You can fund us as much as you want, any little bit will help!

Why didn't I receive an RSVP card and return envelope with my invitation?

Answer

In order to save paper (and money), we have opted to do our RSPV online through this website. It should be straightforward if you follow the prompting but if you have any questions or concerns please let me know. RSVP's are due by June 30th.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

The food at our reception will be very diverse! Six different cocktail hour appetizers, and 3 different entree options in the buffet. We will have vegetarian options available. If you have any food allergies or other dietary concerns please let me know and we will accommodate you as best as possible. (my number is at the top of the page)
