Matron of Honor
Samantha is Sabrina's older sister & one of her best friends! I was the maid of honor for her wedding, & couldn't imagine her not being mine! Samantha is my go-to person when I need help making a decision or need to vent about our crazy family. While living with them, I remember getting ready one night & finally having to tell Samantha I was going out on a date, with a deputy that I met the other night on scene. Samantha & Mark were the first ones to meet Chris once we started dating, & they (thankfully) approved! A few months after dating, Chris moved into their house with me, & the four of us became 'homies' since we shared their house as our home. We have all been inseparable ever since! Chris and I's first kiss was at their old house, & then he proposed to me at their new home.
Best Man
Zach and I met in the police academy, where we quickly became best bros. After graduating the academy, we both went on to work for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. After joining a great department, we got the chance to work on the road together for a little over 3 years, doing 21 jump street type stuff. Zach has always had my back at work, but even more so in every day life. In the 4 years I have known Zach, we have had some fun times, many at work, some as simple as learning to bow fish at a nearby bridge. Zach was immediately accepting of Sabrina when we met and we quickly started hanging out and having dinners together with his family. Sabrina and I consider Zach, Kristen and Eli as our family and are incredibly thankful to know them.
Bridesmaid
Katie and Sabrina have been friends for almost 10 years! We met while working at Chuck's Boots and quickly became close. We are each other's person, partner in crime, and she is my Moe and I am her Brims. Katie is my go-to person when I want to drink and have a good time or just to have a girl's day to shop or get lunch! I was lucky enough to stand up for Katie in hers and Aaron's wedding, and I couldn't imagine my day without her standing up for me. I lived with Katie when we both first decided to move out of our parents' homes, and then her boyfriend at the time, now husband Aaron moved in with us for another year. We have all shared many memories together and they are some of our best friends!
Groomsman
Sabrina and Mark met years ago when Samantha and Mark started dating in 2006. Mark was stuck with me once Samantha and I became close, whether he liked it or not. I was lucky that he allowed me to live with them for a year, and even luckier that he allowed Chris to join me. Mark is my brother-in-law, but I couldn't imagine life without him! Mark was one of the first family members of Sabrina's that I met when I started coming around. Immediately, I knew Mark and I were going to get along. Shortly after meeting Sabrina, I moved into Mark and Samantha's house, where they were nothing but accepting. Mark quickly became one of my best friends, someone I could grab a beer with and talk to about anything. Then I appointed him as my bags coach and the rest was history.
Bridesmaid
Anna is Sabrina's "second sister". Our parents grew up together and have always been friends, so myself, Anna, and Samantha, all being within two years of each other, grew up together too. Her parents are like my own parents, and I'm sure she feels the same about mine. Some of my earliest memories have Anna in them, from my mom babysitting her, to vacations to Branson, and swimming in her backyard pool every summer. We shared many nights around a bonfire and sneaking drinks of alcohol, attending our parents' parties like they were our own, and walking around the subdivision being up to no good! Anna is family, even though not by blood. I was honored to stand up for Anna during hers and Jake's wedding, and I am so happy she will be there for mine!
Groomsman
Hayden is one of my closest and oldest friends. Towards the end of high school/beginning of college, I practically lived at Hayden's house and then at the end of College, I actually did live there. Hayden and I were in separable and to this day I have never met someone as great of a person as Hayden. Hayden would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need and he has been there for me through thick and then. I only get 800 characters to type here, but I would have to write a book to explain the fun and crazy times we've had over the years.
Bridesmaid
Kelly and Sabrina met in Middle School and have been best friends ever since! I have many crazy and fond memories with Kelly throughout high school and college. We have gotten each other through some tough losses, many breakups, and lots and lots of fun times! Kelly is my fellow Harry Potter nerd and my go to person when I need to eat cookie dough and gossip. She has become like another daughter for my parents, and is often seen at our family functions. So, naturally, of course she is going to be up there with me when I marry Chris!
Groomsman
I met Alex in college. We both played volleyball at Missouri Baptist. During my freshman year, I became pretty close to Alex, he lived in the dorms and I commuted from home. I spent many of days in between class and nights just hanging out at the dorms in Alex's room. At the end of Freshman year, Alex and I, plus a couple others, decided we were going to get an apartment sophomore year. While this year of living in the same apartment was a blast, it was also horrible, which some how brought us closer. Alex and I got rid of the problems and Junior year the apartment was a lot better. Through college, Alex was easily my best friend, we spent hours hanging out and created a friend tradition of going to his parish's picnic every year we can. Alex is a heck of a friend and irreplaceable.
Bridesmaid
Renee and Sabrina met while working at Fox High School three years ago. We both started on the same day, both as new secretaries. Renee and I clicked fast and instantly became soulmates. Anyone that we work with (or our significant others) will tell you how close we became so quickly & everyone knows that we are a package deal, especially at work. Renee has been my biggest cheerleader since day one and gave Chris more crap than anyone else over when he was going to propose. After the proposal, Renee was one of the first people I called and I will never forget her reaction. She is my female soulmate, and has been there since day 1 listening to me vent or just to daydream about my future. I can't wait to have her with me on our wedding day!
Groomsman
Aaron and Sabrina met while working at Chuck's Boots in 2011. We became cordial after he wanted my help getting a date with my best friend Katie. I got to play matchmaker and now years later they are happily married. Aaron lived with Katie and I for a year prior to me moving to Samantha and Mark's. I introduced Chris to Katie and Aaron once we started dating and they all got along great! Aaron Aaron Aaron... Aaron and Katie were some of the first friends I was introduced to upon meeting Sabrina. Immediately I knew that they were good people, I could see myself hanging around A LOT, and since then, we have. Aaron is a heck of a human being and we have had some fun times to say the least. Aaron once gave me max effort to kick a bottle and since then I have vowed to kick every ceiling fan.
Officiant
Cal and Sabrina met - you guessed it - while working together at Chuck's Boots. They became great friends fast, and have experienced so much together! Once Chris and Sabrina started dating, Chris and Cal got along great. They are both similar men who like to be outside, have fun, and enjoy a few beers. We are happy to call Cal and Maria some of our closest friends! One night while we were all having a few drinks, we told Cal that someday he was going to marry us. He probably thought we were kidding, but we stuck to it! We are so excited for Cal to be the one to help us tie the knot on our special day. It means the world to us that he is willing to take the job!
Ring Bearer
Cooper and Otto Schaper are Sabrina's nephew's and we are so excited that they are going to be our ring security. It's an important job but we know they can handle it. Cooper and Otto have brought so much happiness and laughs to our lives in the two years they have been alive. They love to talk, play with anything with wheels, take each others toys, and push our buttons. They are obsessed with saying "Bri, Bri, Bri, Bri" all the time and officially correlate Uncle Chris with police cars and their sirens "weeoo-weeoo-weeoo". We love these boys more than anything and can't wait to see them dressed up for our big day!
