CureSearch is an organization with a mission to end childhood cancer by driving targeted and innovative research with measurable results in an accelerated time frame. We truly believe in their mission and the need to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. We have hiked/volunteered with this organization for the past few years and will continue to do so this summer. Columbus Robotics is a non-profit STEM organization supporting middle school & high school robotics teams participating in the FIRST program (https://www.firstinspires.org/). We are both mentors for two middle school teams, helping students build competitive robots while learning important technical and life skills. Columbus Robotics does not charge a fee for the students to participate and we rely solely on fundraisers & donations. Your donation would go towards equipment, competition fees, and outreach activities (so we could bring STEM to more students in the community). We are so passionate about providing this experiential learning opportunity to students, that we typically spend a minimum of 6 hours per week at our robotics shop.
