5:00 am - 9:00 am
We've never seen the "Mass Ascension" of the balloons at the balloon fiesta before, and what better place to see it than up close and personal? It's bright and early, but if you'd like to join us, we'll plan to meet at Sandoval County/US 550 Station west parking lot in Bernalillo at 5:30 am and then caravan to the Balloon Fiesta Park. Please note: this event can be cancelled due to weather (winds specifically) and masks are required for entry. To buy a ticket for one session is $15: https://balloonfiesta.com/Purchase-Tickets.
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
We'd love for folx to join us on a hike near downtown Santa Fe! The Dale Ball North Trail is about 4.5 miles long with minimal elevation gain, and is a well developed trail.
10:30 am - 11:30 am
Grab a fancy coffee and join us as we leisurely walk around the Santa Fe Plaza and Canyon road to check out the unique Architecture and Art of New Mexico, with our very own local guide: Gavin's Great Aunt Susie! We'll meet in the Plaza central.
11:30 am - 2:30 pm
This is a totally optional event if you happen to find yourself in town early and would like to stop by to say hello to the bride, groom, and whomever else is at the event! This house is about 35 miles south of the wedding venue. We'll be serving a casual lunch of frito pie and other snacks and refreshments. Lots of outside space for safe distancing!
8:00 am - 8:30 am
We'll plan to go for a run in downtown Santa Fe the morning of the wedding. We'll do an out and back, so anyone can join us at their own pace. We will meet at the Cathedral Basilica St. Francis of Assisi (very near the Plaza) and run up Cathedral place, cross Alameda, jog down Delgado and up canyon road to the El Cristo Ray Catholic Church, ~1.5 miles each way. Those that need a few more miles can get a warm up in or keep running up Upper Canyon road as long as they like.
4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Suggested Attire: We're not fancy! The wedding party will be semi-traditionally dressed up, for the rest Southwest/Business casual is a good guide: Button down shirt, dress or a skirt, bolo tie, cowboy boots, shorts...you decide! Strong advice: wear or bring comfortable shoes! The ranch is rustic (lots of dirt) and has 240 acres we can explore. Temps can drop to 40s at night so bring a jacket!
Schedule for the Wedding: Ceremony will begin at 4:30 Appetizers and drinks will be served starting at 5:00. Dinner will begin being served at 6:15. Toasts and Dessert around 7:30 Dancing until 10:00! Stay tuned for details on an after party! We'll have a couple of different appetizers, Dinner will be blue corn roasted vegetable cheese enchiladas, confetti rice, Santa Fe caesar salad, and rustic bread. Separate kids menu will have mac and cheese, veggie sticks, and apple sauce. It's all vegetarian, so if you need some meat...have it for lunch! Few other notes: If you want to come early, feel free! The venue is an outdoor Museum showcasing New Mexico History. Entry fee if you come early is $6. Guns are not allowed on the property: even if you have an open carry or concealed carry permit. Please leave your guns at home! The venue has their own security. Thank you in advance!
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
We're planning to have a casual brunch on the morning after the wedding. Everyone is invited, but no one is expected. We'll have coffee and a variety of food. Come refuel after a night of dancing!
