For our adventure loving, thrill seeking friends why not visit Canopy Ridge Farm? Here you can chose Ziplining, or an ATV experience; enjoying your day weaving through 60 acres of hardwood forest and wildlife, all while taking in the amazing views of the Hickory Nut Gorge on this peaceful Lake Lure property.
Chimney Rock State Park
Take a short hike to the top of Chimney Rock! Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park is a nature lover’s paradise with spectacular views and incredible hiking trails. They combine to create a postcard perfect mountain experience. The elevator provides easy access to the 75-mile views of Lake Lure and the Blue Ridge Foothills for our friends of all ages and abilities.

This is a very cute Meadery (like a winery, but sweeter) with great outdoor space & a nice view of the lake! Step back and experience the medieval tavern, sit and sip on the deck or grab a bite to eat.
Lake Lure Flowering Bridge
Enjoy an early morning or late afternoon walk across the unique and somewhat eclectic flowering bridge which offers flower gardens, an herb garden, a butterfly garden and a hummingbird garden just to name a few. The three arched historic bridge once carried traffic between Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. Rather than lose a part of town history a group of citizens joined together to preserve and enhance the structure. The bridge is now a pedestrian bridge, with 15 distinct and unique gardens, leading visitors across the great Rocky Broad River.
