Is there anything guests should NOT wear to the wedding?

Answer

We just ask that guests avoid wearing anything white (including ivory, cream, off white, etc.) The bridal party will be wearing Champagne, so best to avoid that as well. Guests are encouraged to wear semi-formal / formal attire for the Wedding day, and have the option to dress in the 1920’s theme, but that is entirely optional!

What should guests wear to the Welcome Party on Friday?

Answer

The Welcome Party will be a bonfire on the beach, and as such semi-formal / cute-casual attire is encouraged. You will be walking on sand, so prepare accordingly.

Will there be an After Party after the wedding reception?

Answer

Yes! Anyone who would like to enjoy a nightcap with the Bridal Party is encouraged to hang out after the reception, and meet in the Moose & Goose Lounge Bar located inside of the 1927 Lake Lure Inn. The bar will remain open until at least Midnight, depending on how late everyone stays! The after party will be a cash bar, and guests are encouraged to grab snacks from the snack table at the end of the reception for a late night fix!

Can guests rent airbnb's or cabins for their stay?

Answer

Yes! Guests may opt to find their own accommodations. There are a few Airbnb's, VRBO's and cabins in the area. Just be careful to search on the correct side of the lake (use google maps)

Can guests reserve a room at the Inn for longer than the wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes! Just speak with the staff when you call the Inn to reserve your room. 828-625-2525
