Question
Are my kids invited?
Answer
Unless your child was personally invited, we are not able to accommodate them. This is mostly a child free wedding except for a few exceptions like the ring bearers and flower girl.

What is for dinner?
Answer
We will be having champagne chicken, pork medallions, mixed veggies, potatoes gratin, penne alfredo, garden salad, and bread with coffee and water. We have decided to do dinner via the “family style” method. All dishes will already be at the table, and if certain food items run out the staff will refill so that everyone can eat as much as they'd like.

What are the wedding colors?
Answer
The color theme for our wedding will be burnt orange, deep teal, and gold accents.

Will there be travel accommodations?
Answer
Due to the wedding being local for most guests, we have not made any hotel blocks. There are plenty of hotels just east of the venue down Grand River Ave, but let us know if travel may be an issue!

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?
Answer
Yes. Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Crystal Gardens in Howell. Address is 5768 E. Grand River Ave, Howell, MI 48843.

What is the dress code?
Answer
This is a formal wedding. Any colors are fine, but please avoid wearing white.

Will there be dancing?
Answer
Of course! Bring your dancing shoes!

What time should we arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4:00pm, but we suggest that guests arrive as early as 3:30pm. If you are only coming to the reception, the ballroom will be open at 4:30pm.

Is the venue outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will take place in the outdoor chapel, however, the chapel has an overhead roof in case of rain. The reception will be indoors, and there will be outdoor patios as designated smoking areas.

Should we bring a gift?
Answer
While your presence alone is a gift, we will gladly appreciate (but not expect) any gifts you bring. Local ladies will have an opportunity to bring gifts to the bridal shower. You can also order gifts off our registry straight to our house or bring them to the wedding. We will provide a card box for cash gifts at the reception, and there is also our honeymoon fund where you can contribute as well!
