Gavin and Racquel met on Tinder in 2023. Gavin was persistent with talking to Racquel despite her aloofness after a major surgery and life altering events. After a few months of talking, Gavin finally asked Racquel to go out on a date to an apple orchard. The two went to Plymouth Orchards on a hayride together. When Gavin offered his hand to help Racquel off of the ride, Racquel did not let go of his hand after dismounting the ride. Gavin knew he had sealed the deal. The two become official October 6th, 2023. Since then, they paid their debts off, bought a house together, and encouraged growth in one another. Gavin and Racquel went to Hocking Hills in July of 2025 for a get away trip. It was pouring rain and one of the most dangerous times to hike, but they went anyway. Gavin proposed to Racquel underneath a waterfall moments after slipping and falling on a rock. The two made it back alive in one piece so that they could start planning their new life together.
