Gavin and Natalie first met at one of their mutual friend's cabins on the Russian River in California. He made her his famous margarita, and it was love at first sip! After many spontaneous adventures ranging from weddings to music festivals and camping/backpacking trips, they quickly became inseparable and have been together ever since.

On Memorial Day Weekend, Gavin planned a romantic getaway to Carmel-by-the-Sea; a place very near and dear to their hearts. They began the weekend with an early morning hike at Point Lobos State Park - a magical reserve where the forest meets the ocean. Little did she know, he was planning to ask her to spend the rest of her life with him at this edge of the world destination. They hiked to the top of Whaler's Knoll, the highest point in the park, and as they went to take a photo together, he got down on one knee and she said "YES!".
