We suggest renting a car if you want to escape Waikiki and explore the island before or after the wedding. There are numerous car rental agencies to choose from. Please check with your hotel for valet nightly rates ahead of time, as these can be higher in Honolulu than in other cities. While Hawaii is generally safe, we suggest you do not leave any valuables in your rental car while exploring.
