Take your rental car and grab your bikini and beach towel for a fun day exploring the North Shore of Oahu. Where the famous pipeline, great food, and cool shops all converge. While Hawaii is generally safe, we suggest not leaving anything valuable in your car or out in the open. For beach goers looking for true paradise by the ocean, head out to the North Shore for picturesque, white sandy beaches. Waimea Bay treats visitors to a pristine calm bay in the summer, contrasted by monstrous surf in the winter. Down the road at Sunset Beach, visitors will find gorgeous sunsets.
This is an easy-moderate hike with a great view. Take your rental car to another area of the island and make sure you look out for whales while on the hike. Windward East region is perfect for outdoor adventures such as swimming, hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling, with many beautiful beaches such as stunning Lanikai Beach, Waimanalo Bay and Kalama Beach.
