“Our Love Story” Ryan and I met while working together at Oklahoma Pain Management. After about a year of getting to know one another, we realized we were pretty fond of each other. Ryan was the first to reach out, insisting I let him show me how a man is supposed to treat a woman. I was skeptical at first—but he was persistent, and I’m so glad he was. We quickly discovered we loved teasing each other and playing little jokes. Ryan hates jump scares (which makes me laugh way too hard), while I tend to either scream or completely freeze like a fainting goat. On June 15, 2019, Ryan asked me on our first date to Celebration Station, where we played mini golf and spent the rest of the night at the batting cages. From that moment on, the rest was history. Because we worked together, we were nervous to share the news that we were dating. We kept it quiet for a while—until I finally found the courage to tell my boss, Katie, who is now our officiant, close friend, and office manager. Her reaction was pure excitement, and before long everyone knew and was incredibly supportive and happy for us. Shortly after we began dating, I underwent three major surgeries. During that time, Ryan cared for me without hesitation or complaint. He grew close to my parents, and watching the love and devotion he showed only made me fall deeper in love with him. If you know Ryan, you know he is loyal, hardworking, God-fearing, and a true family man. On July 23, 2025, Ryan asked me to marry him at what I thought was our house-warming party—which turned out to be a surprise engagement celebration at my parents’ home, surrounded by family and close friends. And that brings us to today. WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!! I am beyond excited to see what life brings in the days, months, years, and even seconds ahead. I am blessed with an incredible man and a wonderful support system. Ryan’s family welcomed me with open arms and has loved me as their own. I love you, Ry. Here’s to forever with my best friend
