All are within a 2 hour drive from Palermo! Palermo also boasts an incredible marina with many boat tour options offering a fun way to see the beauties of Sicily from the water!
Sicily is rich in history and architecture. Visit the Teatro Massismo, Europe's largest theater, the Cattedrale di Palermo which dates back to 1100, or the Palazzo Butera, a restored palace housing contemporary art and frescos.
Palermo is known for their street food! Classic dishes like arancini (fried rice balls), panelle (fried chickpeas), and granita (Sicilian water ice) can be found everywhere. The best street food is found at the Ballaro Market. This market goes back 1,000 years and has dozens of vendors offering everything from arancini to fresh octopus. There are also many incredible wineries on the outskirts of Palermo - you can never go wrong with Italian wine!
