Our love story started on Hinge back in January 2022 — a modern love story, if you will. Our first date was at Bakersfield. Because it was also Matt’s 26th birthday that week, Megan ordered him a shot of tequila to celebrate. Matt, being a perfect gentleman, ordered one for Megan as well. We weren’t ready to say goodbye just yet, so we extended the date and went on to another favorite local spot. After that night, our love and friendship continued to grow. Even Heidi, Megan’s shy rescue pup, warmed up quickly to Matt. Fast forward to the summer of 2024 — we moved into our first home together in German Village. On May 9th, 2025, Matt told Megan they had dinner plans at one of their favorites, Lindey’s. But instead of heading inside, Matt led Megan to a nearby park where he proposed. We feel incredibly blessed to have the support of our friends and family. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone as we embark on our next chapter!
