What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We encourage guests to arrive 20–30 minutes early so you have plenty of time to park, make your way down to the oak tree, and find your seat before the ceremony begins.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors beneath the oak tree, and the reception will be indoors.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes! There is ample parking at The Ivory Barn. The ceremony and reception spaces are located close to one another and are just a short walk apart.

What's the dress code?
Answer
Our wedding attire is Garden Party Formal. We invite guests to embrace colorful, romantic spring attire with an elegant, polished feel. For women, midi and maxi dresses, flowy silhouettes, floral prints, and spring colors are all wonderful choices. Formal gowns are welcome! For men, suits or dress pants paired with a dress shirt and sport coat are encouraged. Ties are encouraged. The ceremony will take place outdoors on grass, so please keep this in mind when selecting footwear.

Can I bring a date?

We’re so grateful to have many wonderful people in our lives and want to celebrate with as many of them as possible. Because space is limited, we’re only able to accommodate the guest(s) listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your kids! Because space is limited and we’re hoping to include as many of our friends and family as possible, we kindly ask that only children specifically named on the invitation attend.

Will alcohol be served?
Answer
Yes! We’ll be serving a selection of beer, wine, and seltzers, along with a variety of non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening. We kindly ask that guests do not bring outside alcohol onto the property, including the parking areas. Thank you for helping us honor our venue’s policies.

What can I expect at the reception?
Answer
Following the ceremony, we'll gather for an evening of great food, dancing, laughter, dessert, and joyful celebration. We're excited to celebrate the covenant we have just entered into before God and rejoice in His faithfulness. We believe marriage is a gift worth celebrating, and we can't wait to share that joy with our family and friends.

Can I take pictures during the wedding?
Answer
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony and keep phones and cameras tucked away. We have an incredible photography and videography team capturing every moment, and we'd love for you to be fully present with us as we exchange our vows. Once the ceremony has concluded, feel free to take photos and videos throughout the rest of the evening. We'd love for you to capture and share memories from the celebration!

What happens if it rains?
Answer
Our plan is to hold the ceremony outdoors beneath the oak tree. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we will move the ceremony to the covered pavilion at The Ivory Barn. The pavilion is a beautiful open-air space that allows us to celebrate outdoors while staying protected from the elements, so either way we'll be in great hands!

Answer
