What is the typical weather during November on the Western Slope?

Answer

Guests should expect warm to cool days (70s) and cool nights while in Gateway, Colorado. Be sure to bring a jacket or layers for after the sun goes down! Pack a swimsuit to enjoy the pool and hiking shoes to explore the surrounding areas! Our ceremony will take place outside and the reception will be held indoors.

How do I get from the Grand Junction Airport to Gateway Canyons Resort?

We are asking that you please coordinate with other friends and family member's that may be driving, or make reservations for a rental vehicle.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. All wedding areas are outside on the lawn so stilettos may not be the way to go.

Are there alternative lodging options?

Answer

There are not any other lodging options in Gateway which is why we ask that our guests reserve their rooms at Gateway Canyons Resort sooner than later. While there are many hotels in Grand Junction, that is an 1 hr and 15-minute drive for which we will not be providing transportation. I have included information under the 'Travel' tab for a hotel in Grand Junction that we recommend if your looking to stay here Thursday, or Friday night before our Reception. We ask that all of our wedding guests stay on site at Gateway Canyons Resort Saturday night as we celebrate with you all!

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Gateway has so much to offer and will truly be a weekend in paradise.

By when do I have to book my room?

Answer

The deadline for room reservations under our wedding block *discount* is September 15th. Please call as soon as possible to ensure availability, and great room rates! Refer to Travel tab for more information and how to call and reserve your room now.
