In 2016 Greg made the long trek from Chattanooga, Tennessee to Layton, Utah with a new job and new adventures awaiting him! He had been dreaming of getting out west for years and finally made the decision to move when he began applying for jobs and got a great position with FedEx in salt lake city Utah. Full timing in his travel trailer, he simply hitched up and headed west. I had moved to Utah in 2015 when I had been accepted into a private, fast track nursing program in Draper Utah, and was about half way through my nursing school endeavors when I met Greg. I was so close to finishing and aspiring to be a single gal doing travel nursing, being paid to travel the world! Little did I know I was about to be 'Tied down', as Greg told me in 2016 and still tells me to this day! Greg had only been in Utah for about two weeks when we connected online and I finally let him take me to breakfast! I was pleasantly surprised on our first date, he was very polite and handsome with his southern charm in full force and this west coast girl loved that Tennessee twang.

April 22th, 2017 is when Greg surprised me with going on a road trip to one of our favorite places, Bonneville salt flatts, where he had 'Alexis Garrett' already written in the salt when he got on one knee and asked me to marry him! I am so lucky to say that I have found such a strong, independent, hard working man that I know will support me though thick and thin and for good or for bad. We cannot wait to join you all at our amazing venue and celebrate our lives with the people closest to us!
