Yes! We encourage you to wear dresses with a vintage flare! Florals, flounce, lace, textures, gloves, parasols, pearls, lighter hued suits, hats, bolo ties, cowboy boots, all of it! We want you to imagine you are stepping into the past, attending a vintage tea party with a western flare. For my film lovers, I want you to imagine Bridgerton, Little Women, Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables, and Tombstone! We want you to get creative and have fun with dressing up!
We kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony as to not only enjoy this intimate moment with us, but to allow our photographer to do the capturing. However, we encourage you to take as many photos and videos during the reception, as we'd love to see all that you capture!
We love your kids, but unfortunately our wedding is adult only! (With the exception of newborns!)
A lot of our guestlist includes those who live out of state, and we recommend flying into Charlotte Douglas International Airport. It is about an hour and a half drive from where our venue is located, but is the most affordable airport in the area. (Not to mention its usually the only airport with straight flights). Other closer airports include Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (1 hour from venue) and Asheville Regional Airport (45mins from venue), but you will usually have a layover or two if you book your flight with them!
