Travel Note
That is a 3.5 hour drive from the South side of the island (Kihei/Wailea), and a 4 hour drive from the West. You will be driving the Hana Hwy, one of the most beautiful yet dangerous roads in the country. Please plan ahead as you won’t want to go a high speed, there may be stops you want to take on the way, and local people do not take kindly to “tourists” driving slowly in front of them. Please be ‘olu’olu (gracious) and pull over for them.
Flight
For those disinterested in driving the Road to Hana, Mokulele airlines flies from the Kahului airport directly to Hana on a short 15 minute flight. If you plan on taking the flight, please plan according to wedding times and let Hanalei know as the airport is less than a mile from the venue and we can supply transportation to/from the airport.
