Kipahulu

Hana, HI 96713

The Kipahulu District of Haleakala National Park can be accessed by driving 12 miles past the town of Hana. The famous Hana trail is located here. The trail is within an amazing bamboo forest, past an enormous ancient banyan tree, and overlooks the streams of many waterfalls. The magical journey round trip is approximately 2 miles long, and it's been said to be one of the most perfect on the island. A must do! “Seven sacred pools” is also located here. Swimming is strictly prohibited due to its dangerous nature but is beautiful and a must see. Also the home of an incredible campground where Hanalei has spent many years camping with her family and friends.
