Claire and I met when we were 3 years old, and have been best friends ever since! We started playing our instruments in Chester Academy, and then went to Pinkerton Academy for high school, where we made so many fun memories in the marching band, and even braved the school dances. We then decided to follow each other to college, and we became roommates at the University of Southern Maine. Living together is what we absolutely dreamed of as kids! I had such an amazing childhood because I got to spend it with beautiful, wonderful, funny, and amazing Claire. We spent hours upon hours playing pretend, making our own games and worlds, with our huge imaginations. From getting ready for our dances and events in middle school, high school, and college, I am so excited to get ready with you on your wedding day. I am so grateful to stand by Claire and support her, as she marries the love of her life, Garrett.

My name is Nathan, I'm 24, I'm from Montana and I'm currently serving active duty in the Airforce. I love all things outdoors; fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, bushcraft, etc. I met Garrett here in New Hampshire shortly after I got re-stationed here in 2024. A friend of my wife's brought us to her church, where I saw Garrett leading worship and knew I wanted to be his friend. After introducing myself and getting to know each other a little, we arranged a time to go fly fishing together. From that day on we've grown to be great friends. I had just moved to a new place, and honestly God gave me a brother in Garrett here in New Hampshire. I'm so happy to stand at Garrett's side as his best man.

Claire and I met in the fall of 2021 through band class at the University of Southern Maine, and our friendship quickly blossomed from there! We became roommates in 2022 and had many fun outings including, but not limited to: trying on dresses, shopping at Mardens, and more. I grew up in Maine, and have lived in Maryland for the last three years. I am happily married to Aaron (who I also met in band class at USM!) and we are expecting our first baby in May - a little boy!

My name is Carter Harris, I’m 25 and currently live in California where I work as a wildlife biologist. I grew up in Clarksville and I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities especially if it involves reptiles or fishing. I met Garrett in college where we instantly connected over our love for critters and being outside. We have shared many formative adventures and countless laughs together and I have been truly blessed by our friendship. Garrett holds a very special place in my heart and I’m honored and excited to stand by his side on his wedding day and beyond.

Claire and I grew up across the street from one another and I have known Claire since she was born. We have enjoyed ski vacations, playing board games, and snowshoeing together over the years. I live in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and work as a first grade teacher. In my free time I enjoy reading, baking, hiking and kayaking. I am so excited to stand by Claire’s side on her wedding day as she begins this amazing new chapter in her life!

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome one of Garrett’s closest friends and groomsmen, Jared! At 26 years young, Jared hails from our hometown of Clarksville, Tennessee. He’s the kind of guy who can be found crushing it at the gym, exploring the great outdoors, or dreaming up his next big entrepreneurial venture and financial career, but all efforts to honor our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Garrett and Jared’s friendship goes way back to their days in the Salem Youth Group, where it all began; where they’ve shared countless memories together, many truly great ones that have stood the test of time. Today, Jared stands proudly by Garrett’s side, ready to celebrate the next chapter in his best friend’s life.

Claire and I are first cousins and have been close since day 1, making tons of memories at our family camp in Portage, Maine. When we were little girls we dreamed about this day and the time has finally come, I can’t wait to stand by her side as she says I do!

I am Peyton Erwin, Garrett’s brother-in-law. Garrett and I met when I started dating his sister, Delaney, in 2014. We’ve gone on mission trips, youth events, fishing trips, family vacations, and spent lots of time hunting together. Garrett has always been a good friend and fun to be around, but I’m even more thankful to call him a brother. I’m so excited to be a part of your big day, and I’m happy to welcome Claire into the family!

I’m Eden, Claire’s oldest cousin and next door neighbor! I was there the day Claire was born and fondly remember picking out a stuffed zebra for the new baby with our Grammy at the hospital gift shop. We grew up playing outside together, riding bikes that we pretended were horses, and eating beans rolled in sorel as “medicine” fresh from the garden. From picking colors of imaginary princess dresses to wearing a bridesmaid dress by her side, I am so happy to support Claire on her special day.

Hey y’all, my name is Cooper Howard. I’m 27 years old and serve on the pastoral staff at Life Church, as well as a director at Life Christian Academy in Richmond, Kentucky. Garrett and I met at Asbury in 2019, and through our shared love for the Lord and for people, we became close brothers almost immediately. Garrett has truly been like family to me, and though we’ve walked through many different seasons of life, I’m incredibly thankful for his friendship. I’m honored to stand as a groomsman and excited to celebrate the marriage God is establishing between Garrett and Claire with their families.

My name is Sage, and I’m Claire’s cousin. Although we are nine months apart, we are the same age for three whole months a year! We live next door to one another, and grew up playing with our American Girl dolls, creating Kerry’s Kitchen, and spending a whole lot of time outside. My name is Sean, I live in California where I work for a non profit supporting contractors and help manage my family’s rural property. I met Garrett at the 18 Inch Journey discipleship school in North Carolina. Outside of being roommates at the school, we bonded through practicing vulnerability, worship and service. I rediscovered my fascination of nature with Garrett. We spent hours fishing and finding animals in the woods on the campus. Garrett has helped me to be more honest and intentional with myself and the important people in my life. I’m deeply honored to be a groomsman in Garrett’s wedding.
